Acting as an integral part of the Legal Operations Team, the Legal Operations Business Analyst will act as the key liaison between the law department and business stakeholders in supporting the delivery of legal technology solutions in line with business requirements and within project timeframes.
This role is key to ensuring successful delivery of legal technology projects by performing all functions necessary, such as requirements gathering, solution design, system testing, end user training, stakeholder engagement and project management.
Key Responsibilities
Act as subject matter expert for implementation of Contracts Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool for the legal department globally
Owning User access process including adding new users, deactivating new users both for existing legal technology and new technology
Leading quarterly access review process for internal audit and reporting
Creating and serving as an escalation point for template maintenance and contract issues
Providing training to legal team on legal technology solutions
Responsible for Clause library updates for the CLM
Implementing periodic updates to the CLM platform
Liaising extensively with both internal and external clients
Identifying and implementing improvements to existing E-Billing and Matter Management technology
Outside of exiting tools and CLM, working closely with Legal Department to develop technology roadmap
Requirements
Mandatory
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology Management or related discipline
4+ years of industry experience in Legal Operations or related experience
Experience working in global corporation preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a business analyst or legal operations role
Experience using and or implementing legal technology such as Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) preferred
Knowledge of all phases of software implementation lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing (integration, user, and performance), implementation, and support
Experience working on a global legal technology implementation of either a CLM solution or an e-Billing and Matter Management solution.

Must have a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into functional and operational requirements (Visual and written)
Ability to lead and implement business solutions that balance technical capability, cost, and time, against business need is required
Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously is required
Must possess strong leadership skills and generate enthusiasm among team members
Ability to work independently with users to define concepts, under direction of project managers is required
Must be capable of functioning as both Business Analyst and Project Manager for small projects
Must possess strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, directors, managers, and subject matter experts is required
Ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and business customer mindsets is desired

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Rate Minimum:
