Over the past few years, the legal operations team has worked hard to identify the right tools to support the department. However, to make use of the full potential of the tools and to allow us to keep innovating,our recommendation is to hire a Legal Operations Analyst in Toronto dedicated to managing and deepening our usage of these tools. With Malbek, our contract lifecycle management tool (CLM), going live we anticipate a healthy backlog of support and enhancement requests which should be covered by a full time resource.
Responsibilities- Promote the adoption of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) best practices across the organization
- Plan the expansion and development of the future roadmap related to the Contract Lifecycle management system
- Identify pain points and implement solutions to scale the commercial contracting process (i.e., documentation of issues, solutioning, testing, rollout, and training for new features, and processes)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and configure workflows that support their needs
- Coordinate daily management and maintenance of the CLM and serve as the first line of support between sales, legal and the billing teams
- Drive roadmap and enhancements through implementing new features as well working directly with the vendor
- Deepen users knowledge through delivering training sessions and documenting standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Drive automation, process improvements and best practices across the Legal Team
- Establish KPIs and provide regular reporting metrics to measure effectiveness and efficiency
- Build cross-functional relationships with Finance, Deal Strategy, Procurement, and Business Systems
- Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in legal technology and operations, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement

- 3+ years of in-house legal operations experience
- Prior experience in a paralegal role and supporting legal tools such as a Contract Lifecycle management (CLM) platform, E-billing platform, workflow management tools
- Reputation as a thought-leader by peers
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter mentality with a high degree of follow through
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with consistent track record of collaborating with other teams
- Passion for problem-solving
- Proficiency with business applications such as Microsoft Office, GSuite, and Salesforce, Brightflag. Bonus if the candidate has prior experience working with Malbek or comparable CLM

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location.
