Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal counsel to business teams to support commercial objectives and mitigate risk in North Africa and Middle East markets
- Conduct legal risk assessments and recommend practical, business-focused solutions.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements.
- Support contract disputes, investigations, and litigation matters in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and translate them into actionable business guidance.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen collaboration, inclusion, and culture within the legal function.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with active bar admission in Egypt.
- Around five years of experience providing legal support in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, contract drafting, negotiation, and legal risk management.
- Proven ability to deliver practical legal advice that supports business objectives.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, French would be a plus
- Experience working effectively within a complex, matrixed international organization.
