About this Legal Intern role

PropertyGuru is seeking a law graduate to join our Regional Legal team for a 3-month internship, working across Southeast Asia on real commercial and regulatory matters. You will support the team in delivering pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice across commercial, regulatory, and operational matters. As a Legal Intern you will be accountable for:

Contract or Document Management

• Manage electronic filing of legal documents, including maintaining contract repositories and document libraries
• Upload, organise, and maintain contracts and support documents in SharePoint or designated repositories
• Coordinate submission of contracts for stamping via external law firms and reconcile stamped contracts with stamp duty certificates

Commercial Contracts

• Assist in reviewing standard commercial agreements (e.g. non-disclosure agreement, service agreements, sponsorship contracts)
• Support contract lifecycle tasks and internal documentation processes

Regulatory Compliance

• Conduct legal research on data privacy, consumer protection and AI regulations and laws
• Assist with internal compliance initiatives, policies and training materials

Legal Operations

• Improve templates, trackers and processes to enhance legal efficiency using AI tools, where applicable
• Support knowledge management and documentation
