Job DescriptionDo you want to turn your legal studies into real-world impact? Step into the legal field with us and gain practical experience that counts. As a Legal Intern, you’ll be involved in a variety of tasks that support our daily legal operations:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Provide support to legal counsel in preparing reports and documentation for the legal department.
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations for various legal department tasks, projects, and training sessions.
- Assist legal counsel in drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents and contracts.
- Organize and archive legal documents, ensuring proper categorization of files and folders.
- Support and follow up on notary processes and related administrative tasks.
- Review invoices from external law firms and initiate internal approval processes.
- Coordinate the signing of documents by authorized signatories.
- Contribute to the enhancement of legal department operations and the implementation of legal technology solutions.
If this sounds like you, then you’ll be a strong addition to our team.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Law; a Master's degree is a plus.
- You have at least 1 year of experience working in a law firm or an in-house legal department within the UAE.
- You are proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- If you’re familiar with legal technology, it will be considered a plus.
- You are currently based in the UAE.
- You have strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and are open to continuous professional development.
- You are capable of working under pressure and taking initiative independently.
- You possess an analytical mindset with a customer-oriented approach.
- You exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills.
