You can Present, Write and Map Problems to Solutions.You are a motivated, experienced and high-energy professional looking to leverage your legal industry expertise at a market-leading and high-growth SaaS company, where you will join a vibrant sales and solutions team that is achieving rapid regional growth in Australia, New Zealand and throughout Asia.
Your passion is using your love of legal technology, and deep knowledge and understanding of legal industry trends, policies, business practice areas, and challenges, to guide law firms and corporate legal departments to embrace cloud solutions, and to solve key business problems with technology initiatives and tools.
You are a well-reputed problem-solver and strategic thinker with excellent communication and execution capabilities.
You have the following core/essential expertise/skills:

  • Effective presenter for C-Level audience and knowledge workers/business stakeholders.
  • Proficient at writing papers on topics related to industry trends and iManage solutions.
  • Adept at mapping customer problems to iManage products & solutions.
  • Ability to work with pre-sales to craft the right demo story to showcase a solution that maps to customer and regional needs.
  • Aptitude for evangelizing solutions based on a combination of iManage and partner products e.g., Matter Management, Document Automation solutions, etc.

You will augment the team’s current high-level technical expertise (pre-sales) and commercial expertise (sales) with the perspective of an industry-trusted advisor, to elevate the conversation with non-IT stakeholders, drive discussion agendas, and map out strategic roadmaps for customers.
You will serve as an evangelist who presents at trade shows and awards events, participates in discussion panels, and networks with other industry experts to identify analysts/influencers who can carry our messages throughout market segments, from sub-100 to mid-market to large law.

You will report to the Global Senior Director of Solution Outcomes and work closely and collaboratively with Sales/Pre-Sales and supporting iManage teams (Product Management, Marketing, Professional Services, and Reseller/Implementation Partners) to develop sales opportunities and strengthen the iManage brand.
You provide a deep understanding of business practice areas, policies, challenges & technology initiatives applicable to the legal vertical market, to solidify iManage as a thought leader and industry-trusted advisor in region.

Bringing knowledge and specialization in the business of law to support APAC market development by:

  • Working closely with regional Sales Leadership to drive pipeline growth primarily around expanded products/solutions for Security, Risk, Governance and Compliance, as well as Knowledge Search & Management and important innovative AI offerings.
  • Supporting go-to-market initiatives, as mandated by marketing and sales leadership.
  • Participating as a strategic advisor focused on articulating and achieving business benefits in sales-related activities, such as Early Access Programs and Proof of Concepts which influence new business sales.
  • Presenting the business case behind iManage solution offerings, in conjunction with the sales team and the established channel of reseller Partners, during customer and prospect meetings.
  • Running webinars and user groups, alongside sales and marketing, that highlight business problems and how various iManage offerings provide relevant solutions that benefit both organizations and individuals.
  • Promoting thought leadership about using the iManage platform to improve law firm and corporate legal department efficiencies, promote growth, provide risk mitigation, and serve as a springboard for innovation.
  • Attending legal/corporate legal industry events to present on topics relevant to attendees, and to network with customers and prospects at the exhibition booth.
  • Contributing to key strategic client projects with the Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure business goals are being addressed, and assisting with overall project success from a customer perspective.
  • Delivering reseller partner enablement re: the business benefits of new offerings, alongside the Sales & Channels teams, to ensure partners are equipped to identify opportunities for key strategic products.
  • Uncovering and developing interesting Case Studies with customers, in collaboration with marketing and sales.
  • Working with the Product team to understand regional market needs to further enhance product offerings.
  • Identifying industry analysts/influencers who can carry our messages into the small firm segment.

  • Previously served in one or more of the following types of technology advisory roles: legal industry consultant, innovation or knowledge director, Legal Ops, etc.
  • A legal background (ideally a law degree), and am considered a thought leader in the legal industry.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the experience of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven execution capability with the highest standards for delivering expected results.
  • Highly strategic methodology/approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience as a consultative player who thrives on planning and executing the plan.
  • Broad range of legal technology knowledge & trends.
  • The ability to listen judiciously and understand that ”the same thing is not the right thing for everyone.”
  • The aptitude for thinking outside of the box and enjoying innovation.
  • A track record of managing multiple priorities with cross-functional teams.
  • Confident presentation skills coupled with the ability to articulate concepts and ideas at the C-level.
  • High resourcefulness, and work well within a team and independently.
