Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to attorneys across all aspects of internal legal practice
- Oversee high volumes of email, prioritizing action items and filing non-essential correspondence appropriately
- Organize, maintain, and track legal and transactional documents to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and version control
- Coordinate signature collection and manage end-to-end document execution workflows
- Draft initial versions of memos, diligence materials, and counterparty documents with attorney guidance
- Translate attorney concepts and notes into polished PowerPoint presentations and written materials for internal and external audiences
- Handle day-to-day diligence requests from internal teams and external counterparties
- Coordinate and track recurring compliance-related tasks and mortgage licensing logistics Serve as a proactive point of follow-up on projects to track status, drive progress, and meet deadlines.
- Manage calendars, schedules, travel arrangements, expense reports, and attorney availability, proactively managing access and priorities
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and manage time-sensitive requests with professionalism and discretion
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience supporting attorneys as an Executive Assistant, Legal Assistant, or Paralegal.
- Demonstrated comfort working directly with attorneys.
- Experience in the finance industry, with a strong preference for mortgage-related experience.
- Exposure to mortgages, RMBS, structured finance, or capital markets is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Some experience with generative AI tools.
- Strong work ethic, follow-through, and a "get-things-done" mindset.
