As a Legal Entity Controllers Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall integrity and validity of financial statements, financial regulatory reporting and management financial reporting associated with their entities. You will also be responsible for improving ongoing processes and ensuring execution and implementation of overall financial architecture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting and reporting for legal entities in the EMEA region (excluding the UK) on a monthly basis in accordance with US GAAP.
- Oversee end-to-end month-end close activities, including Fx trade out, capital hedge, and earnings per unit (EPU) calculations. - Liaise with auditors and support Legal Entity Controllers during control audits.
- Prepare quarterly regulatory reports as per local GAAP for EMEA entities, including liquidity reporting and VAT returns. - Develop and maintain relationships with onshore partners and business stakeholders.
- Implement internal control policies and procedures to mitigate financial and business risks. - Monitor and control daily activities involving reconciliations. Maintain centralized financial reference data for the EMEA region.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for various ongoing projects and system implementations.
- Engage team members and build effective working relationships within the team. Remove the sentence \"Support the senior management team in decision-making by analyzing financial performance.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- CA, CA Inter, Mcom or MBA with minimum 1year experience (will vary depend on level)
- Strong accounting knowledge with experience in Book closure and finalizing accounts
- Ability to multi-task under considerable time pressure, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality.
- Good Communication and organizational skills including partnering skills and pro-activeness.
- Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and Outlook
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage
- Experience in discounted cash flow valuation a plus
- Experience preferably with financial services industry.
