Position Overview

We are a busy and growing legal services company supporting law firms with process serving and document delivery. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Document/Intake Specialist to help keep daily operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, working with legal documents, and supporting a fast-paced office environment. You will work closely with our internal team to ensure that they are supported.

What You'll Do

  • Review and process legal documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform data entry to initiate, update, and close case files
  • Prepare, scan, image, and upload legal documents for law firm clients
  • Maintain organized digital records and case documentation
  • Communicate with law firms, customers, and contract process servers regarding case updates
  • Perform collection calls for past due balances when necessary
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service
  • Assist with general administrative and clerical duties to support office operations

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of general office or administrative experience preferred
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems and office software
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong typing and data entry accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor when working with clients and legal professionals

Work Environment

This is an in-office position in a professional office setting. 
Employees in this role:

  • Work primarily at a computer workstation
  • Frequently use office equipment such as scanners, printers, and imaging systems
  • May occasionally move items weighing up to 10–25 pounds
  • Must be able to remain seated or stationary for extended periods while working on a computer
  • Must be located in the San Antonio metropolitan area with the ability to work from the office 5 days a week.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full-time, hourly position
  • $17 per hour, plus overtime
  • Medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, and 401K available.
  • Flexible time off (paid planned and sick time, and paid holidays).
