Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct document review for litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters.
- Identify and tag responsive, confidential, and privileged documents using eDiscovery platforms.
- Support legal holds, data collection, and processing activities in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data privacy laws throughout discovery workflows.
- Collaborate with legal, the Global Data Protection Officer (DPO) and the Privacy & Data Ethics Office to implement defensible review protocols and privacy-by-design principles.
- Maintain accurate records of review progress and contribute to reporting and audit readiness.
- Work closely with the DPO and the Privacy & Data Ethics Office to stay informed on new developments in global privacy regulations and assess their impact on legal operations.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Law, or a related field; paralegal certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience in legal document review, litigation support, or eDiscovery.
- Working knowledge of EU and US data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Familiarity with eDiscovery tools (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw) and review workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to cross-border data privacy issues or international legal matters.
- Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
- Interest in legal technology and privacy compliance.
