The Role
The Legal Counsel, India, will be responsible for providing legal advice to support Payoneer’s significant regulatory and strategic matters in India. The position is based in Bangalore, India, and will report to the Senior Director, Regulatory Counsel, APAC and SAMENA.

Skills Required
- Fully qualified lawyer with excellent academic credentials
- At least 8 years of post-admission experience practicing as an attorney
- Financial services, payments, and fintech industry experience
- Experience working with regulators in India
- Solid understanding of RBI regulatory frameworks
- Ability to evaluate legal issues and recommend actions
- Ability to provide practical legal advice to stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
