Inbank is a financial technology company with an EU banking license that connects merchants, consumers, and financial institutions on its next-generation embedded finance platform. Our financing solutions are embedded seamlessly into the shopping journey of 6,000+ retailers. This helps our merchant partners grow their businesses, while end customers benefit from a frictionless shopping experience wherever they are. With a focus on innovation and growth, we are looking for talented people to join our team of 440+ working across our offices in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

As we continue to expand our business, we are looking for a practical, solution-driven Legal Counsel to join our team and contribute to our growing operations.

In this role, you will work with our Estonian business while being part of an international legal team across five countries. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from different teams, helping to address day-to-day legal questions and assisting with corporate legal matters. This is a hands-on position where you will gain exposure to a wide range of legal topics while helping ensure our operations remain compliant and legally sound.

What will you be doing?

  • Providing practical legal guidance to our Customer Care team on recurring matters such as debt collection, inheritance, bankruptcy, and other customer-related legal questions.
  • Supporting day-to-day corporate legal matters, including preparing board and shareholder resolutions and related documentation.
  • Reviewing and negotiating a variety of third-party agreements that support our business growth, including ICT and outsourcing contracts, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (including DORA).
  • Helping ensure compliance with Estonian legal requirements, keeping our operations aligned with local regulations.
  • Contributing to the improvement and optimisation of legal processes, helping streamline workflows, standardise documentation, and support efficient collaboration across teams.

 Ideally, you would have:

  • 2–3 years of previous experience in a legal role, such as Legal Counsel, Associate, or similar (in-house or in a law firm). Experience in the financial services or fintech sector is a plus.
  • A structured and detail-oriented working style, ensuring accuracy and clarity in legal documentation and advice.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently while collaborating with different teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Estonian and English.

What you’ll get in return?

  • A competitive salary tailored to your experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Wellbeing support through sports compensation or additional health insurance to help you stay active and healthy.
  • Extra vacation days after your third year, giving you more time to rest and recharge.
  • A 6-week paid sabbatical after four years, recognising strong performance and long-term contribution.
  • A dynamic and inspiring work environment where you’re encouraged to grow and take ownership of your work.
  • Flexibility through a hybrid and autonomous way of working, built on trust and accountability.
  • The opportunity to collaborate with talented international colleagues across multiple markets.
  • Regular team events and additional perks that make work more enjoyable and help celebrate successes together.

Sounds like a fit?

Apply, and our recruitment team will be in touch. If you’re unsure but curious, apply anyway - we’re happy to explore together.
