Legal Counsel – GOGOX Malaysia Legal
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of business activities across the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including NDAs, service contracts, and agreements with suppliers and customers.
- Advise on employment and HR-related legal matters, providing practical guidance to internal teams to help manage business risks.
- Oversee corporate governance and administration matters.
- Support legal issues arising from other offices across the Asia-Pacific region, as required.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related legal qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience as a practicing lawyer and/or in-house legal counsel (experience in tech company is a plus).
- Strong background in corporate legal drafting, contract negotiation, and reviewing commercial agreements.
- Strong command of English and Mandarin (both written and spoken). Proficiency in Cantonese or Korean will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
