Responsibilities

• Giving accurate and timely advice to the Legal Team manager in a variety of legal topics,
• Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
• Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues,
• Helping the management of the litigation processes of the company,
• Attend hearings and arbitration proceedings,
• Join the negotiation of agreements,
• Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces,
• Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of law and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function,
• Write memorandums in the English language regarding current legal issues, amendments in legislation, etc.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in Law,
• Comprehensive knowledge on payment services, e-commerce, contracts, IP, data privacy, and IT law,
• Relevant work, at least 3 years of experience (excluding the internship period) in a law firm or in-house in an international company,
• Experience on litigation,
• Arbitration and mediation skills,
• Good organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills,
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures,
• Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation,
• Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies,
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity,
• Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information,
• Outstanding communication skills both in Turkish and English,
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
