Our Mission

At Omnea, we’re reinventing how enterprise businesses operate, starting with the most painful parts: procurement – where a single purchase can drag on for months, trigger 50+ emails, and pull in Finance, Legal, Security, and IT just to get something approved.

We’ve raised $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, and Accel to change that. Our AI-native platform connects every person, step, and system so buying is fast, safe, and efficient – one place to request, automated approvals and renewals, real-time supplier risk, and complete spend visibility.

The opportunity is massive. Every enterprise on the planet has this problem and nobody has solved it. We’ve 10x’d ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months and are trusted by global enterprises like Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo, and Albertsons. We’re now the 4th fastest growing startup in Europe & the Sunday Times' #1 Best Medium Sized Tech Company To Work for.

Our team previously scaled Tessian (cybersecurity tech, backed by Sequoia, Balderton, Accel, acquired post-Series C), and our team includes ex-founders operators who’ve grown unicorns, shipped world-class products, and executed at the highest levels. You’ll work alongside leaders like Ben, Abs, Sabrina, and Rebe.

We're looking for an exceptional mid-level attorney to join Omnea's Legal team and take real ownership across our commercial, corporate and compliance work as we scale in the US!

Reporting to our Head of Legal based in London, you'll be Omnea's first lawyer on the ground in the US and the primary legal partner to our US Go To Market team. You'll be a trusted advisor across the business, leading commercial negotiations, advising on product and data privacy, supporting corporate transactions, and helping drive our compliance and infosec agenda. As our first US legal hire, you'll have a broad remit and the autonomy to shape how Legal supports Omnea's US growth.

You’ll be joining us at an incredibly exciting time, just as things are starting to really scale rapidly. We're looking for someone great as we work to make Omnea one of the world’s leading tech businesses: come build with us!

NB. We're either hiring this role in the UK or the US, so whilst we have an advert open for each location, we have one open headcount.

What you can expect

You’ll do whatever it takes to make sure Omnea can continue to operate at pace. You'll;

  • Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements with enterprise clients, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)

  • Own US data privacy matters, including negotiating data processing terms and advising on applicable state and international privacy laws, and cross-border transfers

  • Manage high-volume enterprise contract workflows, providing triage to help sales teams prioritise negotiations and unblock deals

  • Develop and maintain playbooks and fallback positions for common enterprise negotiation scenarios, enabling faster deal cycles as the business scales

  • Partner with teams like product, engineering, and security to advise on legal and compliance implications of new features, particularly around data handling, AI capabilities, and user privacy

  • Conduct legal reviews on product releases to ensure alignment with evolving data privacy regulations and contractual commitments to customers

  • Support the product team in developing compliance documentation, feature specifications, and AI policies that can be confidently represented to enterprise prospects

  • Support on corporate and strategic projects, including fundraising and international expansion

About you

We're looking for someone commercial, capable and ready to operate with real independence:

  • You're a licensed attorney admitted to practice in any US state, with strong training from a top law firm or relevant in-house experience, and a minimum of 3 years' experience as a practising attorney (we're open on level, more experienced applicants welcome too)

  • You're a seasoned commercial operator with proven expertise negotiating and closing complex, high-volume SaaS agreements with enterprise clients.

  • You can own customer relationships and deal strategy independently, and you're comfortable managing negotiations without constant escalation

  • You have demonstrable experience with international compliance frameworks (GDPR, SCCs, DPAs). You can advise confidently on complex cross-border data transfer issues and navigate regulatory uncertainty across multiple jurisdictions

  • You thrive in fast-moving environments and can manage competing priorities at scale. You're comfortable operating with incomplete information and making sound judgment calls under pressure, particularly when coordinating across time zones

  • You're genuinely interested in how AI and legal tech can transform how legal works, contract automation, legal ops efficiency, document drafting tools and you're willing to experiment with and adopt new platforms to improve your own productivity and output quality

  • Your judgment is relied upon not just on legal matters but on commercial strategy. You communicate complex issues clearly to leadership and customers without oversimplifying, and you can adapt your style to different audiences

  • You can manage large portfolios of concurrent negotiations, multiple stakeholders, and shifting priorities while maintaining excellence and attention to detail. You're proactive about flagging issues early and coordinating with the London team where needed

At Omnea, we embrace diversity. To build a product that's loved by everyone, we're best served by a team with all sorts of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't quite match the full job spec! And regardless of your race, religion, colour, gender, or anything else! If you think you could be a good fit for Omnea, please reach out.

A few things to note:
  • We offer competitive geo-localised benefits, and you can check out our UK Benefits Package here and our US Benefits Package here.

  • We work Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays in-person at our offices. At this early stage of our company life-cycle it's important to us that we get this together-time, and you can read more about why we believe this is a winning move here

  • We're commercial, ambitious and we don't pretend otherwise! We're actively seeking folks looking to make the most of a career-defining opportunity, with the hunger to be part of building something really impressive. You can see our values here and our Omnea Future Founder's fund here!

  • We sometimes use AI note-takers to help us transcribe interview notes, so we can be more present in your interview. If you'd like to opt out of us using automatic transcribers, please note this in the free text field in your application, otherwise we'll take your application as confirmation that you're happy for us to use notetakers (whether added to video calls or in the background).

We are proud to be recognised for both our culture and product, and we are just getting started. Join us as we grow!
