We are seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our Licensing & New Products team. The role supports the expansion of our global footprint and innovative product offerings.
You will play a key role in advising on financial services regulatory licensing initiatives, assessing legal risk for new product launches, and providing counsel on cross-border legal matters. Responsibilities:
- Supporting the projects for authorizations in different countries.
- Drafting and reviewing the business plans, different manuals required, contracts and other legal documents.
- Conducting research under regulation of different countries.
- Supporting and providing the right advice on various financial services license applications.
- Advising on different legal and regulatory matters.
- Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their strategic needs that effectively support key projects, partnerships and commercial goals.
Requirements:
- 3+ years PQE. Previous law firm/regulated financial services company experience is an advantage.
- Solid experience working across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience with dealing with external legal & compliance consultants.
- Experience supporting various financial services licence applications is an advantage.
- Analytical skills, commercially oriented and eager to understand how the business operates to the very last detail.
- Strong task-management abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously, make decisions and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR).
