Legal Counsel (d/f/m)

This position is based in either Mannheim or Munich, Germany or St. Ouen, Paris. It will be a temporary position for 18 months with the possibility for a permanent contract.
Your Role
-
Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements in English (including service agreements with retail alliances, confidentiality agreements, master service agreements and licensing agreements)

Provide strategic & pragmatic advice on legal, regulatory, risk and competition law issues

Handle matters relating to data privacy (GDPR etc.)

Develop contractual templates, policies and procedures and other standard documents

Hold trainings and presentations on competition law, other policies and regulations and various legal topics

Education & Skills

Education: Fully qualified German or French lawyer

Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience dealing with complex legal issues, gained at an international law firm or as in-house counsel at a multinational company

Robust experience in contractual work

Excellent working proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively deliver a clear answer to questions
