Summary
The primary responsibility of the Legal Contract Administrator is to manage legal contracts and agreements between the company and other parties.
Essential Functions

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients

Ensuring that all contracts and agreements comply with legal requirements and company policies

Maintaining a database of all legal contracts and agreements
-
Monitoring contract renewal and expiration dates and ensuring that all necessary actions are taken in a timely manner
-
Coordinating with the legal department and other stakeholders to resolve any contract-related issues or disputes
-
Communicating with other departments and team members to ensure that all contract terms are understood and followed

Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Required
-
Bachelor's Degree in business, contracts management or a related field
-
2-4 years applicable job experience
Skills & Competencies
Required
-
Basic technology skills, including MS Office Suite

Professional-level verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate agreement between parties with different perspectives

Knowledge of principles, procedures and best practices in the industry

Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner
-
High level organizational skills, time management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines
-
Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and effectively handle interpersonal relationships with others

Possess a strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be detail-oriented and analytical.

Relevant certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) may be preferred.
