Position Summary
1. Monitor compliance with laws and regulations and detect illegal activities to prevent risks by imposing sanctions on violators.
2. Minimize legal risks upon overall legal compliance management by supporting and providing legal advise and related supports.
3. Induce and spread employees' voluntary participations through notification of legal enactment and its amendment and compliance violation cases and by holding related exhibitions & events.
Role and Responsibilities
1. [Legal advice] Manage to review legal advices requested by the business in various perspectives to prevent legal disputes from happening.
2. [Compliance review] Manage constant and ad-hoc reviews on themes which might have potential risks, in order to prevent them from happening.
3. [Responding to a government investigation] Manage to respond to Fair Trade Commission and a labor supervisor's request and investigation in order to prevent legal violation.
4. [Establishment of law-abiding culture] Manage to encourage employees to patriciate in compliance activities and expand law-abiding culture by notifying law enactment and revision status and organizing related exhibitions and events.
5. [Management of public announcement documents] Manage collaboration tasks with external parties and material reviews that are/will-be publicly declared like social responsibly report and business reports.
6. [Identifying legal trend (fair trade, anti-corruption, privacy protection and etc.)] Manage to identify law and regulation trends to establish a measure to preemptively respond to issues.
7. Have background experience from Multinational Company (nice to have).
8. Have experience handling Compliance Program & Training
Skills and Qualifications
• Has PERADI certificate is mandatory
• Typically requires at least 5 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; and a Master's degree; or a PhD
• Has a wide range of experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
• Works on complex issues where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates other's tasks
• May manage a group such as coordinating activities regarding costs, methods and staffing
