Legal & Compliance Intern

Job Description SummarySupport the Site Compliance Leader and Senior Counsel in various operational and compliance-related tasks. These include assisting with the creation and deployment of content for communication and awareness initiatives, reviewing and drafting contracts under the guidance of Senior Counsel, coordinating with the public notary for document requests, developing standard work documentation, and performing other related compliance tasks as needed.Job Description

Major Duties:

• Create and deploy compliance-related communication materials, including visual aids, awareness campaigns, videos, and notices.
• Conduct compliance onboarding training for new hires.
• Develop and deliver additional training programs related to Legal & Compliance.
• Coordinate roundtable discussions with teams to address compliance topics.
• Assist with the organization of Operational Compliance Focals (OCFs).
• Support the preparation of written warnings under the supervision of the Site Compliance Leader (SCL) and Senior Counsel.
• Assist in the preparation of contracts under the supervision of the SCL and Senior Counsel.
• Create standard work and work instructions for compliance in alignment with Flight Deck principles.
• Contribute to compliance initiatives as required.
• Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare information of KPI metrics and report out with supervision of the SCL and Senior Counsel.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and assist in identifying team solutions.
• Support day to day activities related to the Legal & Compliance team.

Qualification / Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a law-related bachelor’s program with at least half of the program remaining before graduation.
• Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with labor and employment law (L&E), contract law, corporate law, and labor law.
• Advanced English Proficiency: Strong written and verbal English skills; must be able to read and write in English effectively.
• Good Ethical Judgment: Demonstrates a strong sense of ethics and integrity when handling sensitive legal and compliance matters.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and respect for the company’s cultural norms and practices, including communication styles, decision-making processes, and workplace etiquette.
• Client Interaction: Professional demeanor when engaging with clients, regulators, and other external parties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and others.
• Demonstrate leadership, self-confidence, initiative, interpersonal skills, analytical ability, and adaptability to change.
