ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for someone curious, proactive, and ready to grow into a client-facing commercial role. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll work closely with global teams across production, marketing, operations, and leadership to support existing clients and help identify new opportunities within the legal industry.
You’ll begin by partnering closely with experienced Business Development Directors, learning our business, and supporting key accounts. As you develop, you’ll gradually take ownership of your own portfolio of clients and opportunities.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and learning how businesses make decisions in a fast-moving, global environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Business Development Directors with day-to-day account activities and help ensure excellent customer care.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction goals for legal and financial services accounts.
- Research potential opportunities, gather insights, and assist with data analysis to inform account strategies.
- Help prepare and participate in presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Draft proposals with support from the Customer Success team.
- Assist in building and maintaining account plans, reports, and customer documentation.
- Prospect new clients and help nurture early-stage relationships.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records, including forecasts, opportunities, and activity updates.
- Contribute to RFP/RFQ/RFI responses in collaboration with the wider team.
- Work with colleagues globally to define value propositions and service offerings for new and existing clients.
- Support your manager in refining sales and marketing efforts and identifying high-potential targets.
- Help move opportunities through the sales cycle and contribute to achieving revenue goals.
- Take ownership of assigned clients, markets, service areas, or projects as your experience grows.
- Collaborate with teams across the company to ensure expectations and deliverables are aligned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Up to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, operations, customer success, or related roles.
- Experience in professional services or technology industries is a plus but not required.
- Interest in developing skills in B2B client engagement and consultative sales.
- Experience or coursework involving research, presentation creation, lead generation, or customer engagement is helpful.
- Strong communication skills—comfortable explaining ideas clearly and professionally.
- Ability to work with data to support decisions (Excel/Sheets, basic analysis, reporting).
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a global, cross-functional team.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks with growing autonomy.
- Persistent, adaptable, and able to navigate conversations with a variety of stakeholders.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent work experience.

Salary Range: $55,000 to $65,000 Per Annum
This position is on-site in Scottsdale, AZ and requires daily attendance at our offices.
