THE ROLE
As a Legal Associate at Indie Campers, you will be part of our dynamic in-house Legal Department, supporting the company’s operations across multiple jurisdictions. You will report directly to the Legal Manager and play a crucial role in aligning legal strategy with business goals.
Acting as a key point of contact for legal matters, you will collaborate closely with departments such as Operations, People, Revenue and Product.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Conduct detailed and accurate legal research across multiple legal regimes and practice areas, including commercial, employment, and corporate law.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents such as supplier/client contracts, employment agreements, corporate minutes, and internal policies.
- Identify and assess legal risks across company operations and propose effective, business-minded solutions.
- Ensure high standards of legal quality, consistency, and delivery across all assigned matters.
- Support junior team members in onboarding, understanding Indie Campers' legal standards, and upholding core values.
- Actively contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the Legal Department.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Law from a recognized university (Europe, US or APAC)
- Between 3 to 7 years of professional experience in legal practice, ideally in an international company or law firm.
- Proven track record in contract law, corporate law, and cross-border legal matters.
- International tax knowledge is a nice-to-have.
- Registration with the Bar Association in a country where Indie Campers operates is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of contract, commercial, and labour law.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with ever-changing situations;
- You are motivated by taking ownership of your projects;
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
