The Legal Associate supports DeepHealth's legal function across contract management, intellectual property monitoring, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Working under the direction of the Legal Counsel and Head of Legal, this role reviews and drafts routine legal documents, conducts legal research, and assists with the coordination of legal matters across the business.
The Legal Associate develops foundational expertise across the company's key legal domains — including commercial contracts, data protection, AI regulation, and intellectual property — while building toward greater independence in legal analysis and cross-functional support.
· Review and conduct initial analysis of incoming contracts and agreements, identifying key terms, obligations, and issues for senior review.
· Draft routine contracts, NDAs, and standard agreements under supervision using established templates, adapting as required for the specific context.
· Support contract negotiations by preparing redlines, maintaining version control, and tracking the status of open negotiations.
· Support internal teams in understanding contract terms and legal requirements, responding to routine legal queries under supervision.
· Assist with intellectual property portfolio management, coordinating filings, renewals, and monitoring activities with external IP advisors.
· Conduct legal research and regulatory monitoring in relevant areas including data protection, AI, cybersecurity, and GDPR, and prepare written summaries and briefings for the legal team.
· Assist with corporate governance documentation, including preparation of board materials, compliance filings, and maintenance of corporate records.
· Support risk management activities by identifying and escalating potential legal issues arising in business operations.
· Assist with the coordination of external legal advisors — preparing briefs, gathering factual information, and managing correspondence.
· Support M&A and fundraising activities by assisting with due diligence document review, organization, and tracking.
· Maintain and continuously improve legal department workflows, contract templates, and knowledge base resources.
· Assist with monitoring legal developments and assessing their potential impact on company operations, under guidance of senior legal team members.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's degree in Business Law, Intellectual Property Law, Digital Law, or Health Law preferred. (Required)
· 2+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department. (Required)
· Working knowledge of contract law fundamentals, including drafting and reviewing standard commercial agreements. (Required)
· Familiarity with GDPR, data protection, and digital or AI regulatory frameworks. (Required)
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; able to draft clearly and precisely. (Required)
· Strong analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent matters. (Required)
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. (Required)
· Microsoft Office experience. (Required)
· Exposure to intellectual property, corporate governance, or healthcare regulatory matters. (Preferred)
· Additional language skills relevant to DeepHealth's operating regions. (Preferred)
