We are seeking a Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive legal support to a dynamic and multidisciplinary legal team. This role reports to the Vice President, General Counsel and is ideal for a proactive professional with exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. The successful candidate will support a broad range of legal and administrative matters, including contract management, legal document review and drafting, knowledge management, process improvement, and special projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft, review, and redline legal documents, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), vendor agreements, letters, memoranda, and other commercial contracts.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding NDAs and other legal documents and matters.
- Coordinate electronic signature processes and maintain contract records, databases, and legal filings.
- Support the development and implementation of processes that improve efficiency and organization within the Legal team.
- Manage legal intake workflows and tools to ensure timely and effective support of legal requests.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance centralized legal resources, templates, and tools for internal stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Procurement, Business Development, Engineering, Human Resources, Finance, and Operations.
- Conduct legal and business research as needed to support various projects and initiatives.
- Assist with knowledge management, document retention, and compliance-related activities.
- Support and manage special projects and other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or equivalent role within a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Associate’s degree in a related field or Paralegal Certification.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and principles.
- Experience conducting legal research using online databases and other resources.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and legal technology platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally, as business needs require.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours on occasion to support critical business priorities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting in-house legal teams and/or high-growth companies.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and collaboration tools.
- Experience with platforms such as Slack, Confluence, Jira, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, or similar business applications.
- Exposure to commercial contracting, procurement, compliance, intellectual property, or corporate governance matters.

- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations
