Responsibilities and Duties:
- Efficiently manage the calendars of 4-5 attorneys to ensure smooth scheduling of appointments, meetings, and court appearances.
- Oversee compliance with filing deadlines by attorneys, ensuring timely submission of necessary documents without the need for drafting or filing.
- Utilize our specialized case management software, tailored specifically for Century, to input deadlines, access upcoming hearings, and arrange for appearance counsel as needed.
- Correspond with attorneys, opposing counsel, and court personnel, while also accessing court dockets and records to facilitate legal proceedings.
- Conduct monthly reviews of attorneys' cases, strategizing for potential settlement discussions and other pivotal milestones.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Possess professional phone and email etiquette.
- Previous experience in a legal environment is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong organizational abilities and a persuasive demeanor.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
