RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and prepare legal documents, including Grand Jury subpoenas and indictment packages
- Assist with pretrial and trial prep by reviewing/organizing case files, trial binders, exhibits, affidavits, etc.
- Compile witness lists and coordinate the scheduling of witnesses and court reporters
- Interact with witnesses, investigative agents, other agencies, and internal USAO personnel
- Assemble and organize files and records for disposition or transfer to records repositories
- Prepare and submit electronic court filings using ECF/PACER
- Conduct legal research using Courtlink, public information databases, and other available legal resources
- Verify legal citations and assist AUSAs with research supporting assigned criminal matters
- Maintain the automated case-tracking system for assigned matters
- Maintain calendars of active court matters, including filings, hearings, trial dates, and other deadlines
- Schedule appointments, interviews, conferences, and other case-related commitments
- Provide reminders for court appearances and other time-sensitive obligations
- Arrange attorney and witness travel, including itineraries, transportation, and hotel reservations
- Prepare internal authorizations, travel authorizations, and vouchers

- Services are required at the USAO location; in rare instances, services may be required at an alternative location
