Position Summary
Member of the legal department team, reporting to SEIL Legal Counsel. responsible to Legal Report, Research and Content Coordination and sSamsung Electronics Israel (SEIL) is looking for an outstanding legal counsel to join the legal team at our Petah Tikvah site.
This is an opportunity for attorneys from leading law firms or legal departments to join a legal department of a leading global company.
Role and Responsibilities
Member of the legal department team, reporting to SEIL Head of Legal and Compliance department. Responsible for legal support, global reporting, legal research, and legal advice to various company and global stakeholders.
- Provide legal advice to company departments and global stakeholders throughout all stages of commercial engagement and strategic initiatives.
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of legal documents.
- Support litigation management, including content coordination and follow-up on litigation status.
- Manage the weekly, bi-weekly, and other ongoing reports to global HQ of Samsung and support legal operations efficiently.
- Experience and knowledge in consumer protection law, promotions and advertisement campaigns, spam law and Israeli privacy law – a major plus.
Skills and Qualifications
- LL.B degree, preferably from a leading academic institution, and a valid license to practice law in Israel.
- 2 years of professional experience as a practicing attorney, preferably, in a leading law firm/ in-house company supporting commercial operations.
- High-level of English and Hebrew, both written and spoken.
- Experience and knowledge in consumer protection law, promotions and advertisement campaigns, spam law and Israeli privacy law – a major plus.
