 GLP Attorneys is seeking a Legal Assistant or Experienced Legal Assistant to join our Silverdale team. This is a full-time position with regular working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is initially based in the office during training, with the possibility of hybrid flexibility after training is successfully completed, depending on business needs and the requirements of the role. Travel between our Tacoma and Silverdale offices may also be required up to 10% of the time.

In this role, you will support clients and legal teams throughout the life of a case. Responsibilities include opening new client files; communicating with clients, medical providers, insurers, and other involved parties; responding to client questions; conducting client reviews; preparing correspondence; maintaining accurate case records; assisting with PIP claims; coordinating medical bill payments; and verifying account balances.

This position requires strong organization, attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Your work will directly support the exceptional service and meaningful results GLP Attorneys delivers to its clients.

Requirements

In This Position, You Will

  • Work closely with the assigned attorney(s) and legal team(s) to support an active caseload.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to help ensure cases are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Open new client files, maintain accurate case records, assist with PIP claims, and verify account balances.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, healthcare providers, insurers, and other involved parties.
  • Prepare client correspondence, respond to inquiries, and conduct client reviews.
  • Coordinate medical bill payments and maintain related records and documentation.
  • Manage multiple priorities while providing responsive, compassionate service to clients.

What You Bring

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Advanced education or a paralegal certificate is preferred.
  • Experience as a legal assistant or in a professional office environment is highly desired.
  • Prior experience in plaintiffs’ personal injury law is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong written communication skills and experience preparing professional correspondence.
  • Confidence communicating with clients, healthcare providers, and other parties by telephone and email.
  • Strong attention to detail, balanced with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to providing excellent client service.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly base pay range for this position is $23.00 to $26.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for bonus compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant factors, including work location, experience, education, and job-related skills.
