We are looking for an organised and proactive Legal Assistant (Litigation) to support our in-house legal team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of litigation matters, helping maintain efficiency, accuracy, and strong case management across the team.
You’ll play a key part in supporting litigation processes, managing documentation, coordinating deadlines, and ensuring cases progress effectively.
Location: Norwich (King Street)
Hours: Full Time - 37 hpw - Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Provide administrative support across all aspects of litigation work
Manage and organise case files using internal case management systems
Monitor key dates and deadlines, ensuring compliance across the team
Handle incoming and outgoing post, including court filings
Maintain and update case records accurately
Monitor shared inboxes and allocate incoming work appropriately
Assist with diary management and scheduling for the litigation team
Type dictation and prepare legal documents as required
Support effective communication within the team and with external parties
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Confident communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook; Excel and SharePoint desirable)
GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands
Desirable
Previous experience in a similar administrative or legal support role (approx. 2 years)
Experience within a legal environment or litigation setting
Familiarity with case management systems
