We are looking for an organised and proactive Legal Assistant (Litigation) to support our in-house legal team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of litigation matters, helping maintain efficiency, accuracy, and strong case management across the team.

You’ll play a key part in supporting litigation processes, managing documentation, coordinating deadlines, and ensuring cases progress effectively.

Location: Norwich (King Street)

Hours: Full Time - 37 hpw - Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide administrative support across all aspects of litigation work

  • Manage and organise case files using internal case management systems

  • Monitor key dates and deadlines, ensuring compliance across the team

  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, including court filings

  • Maintain and update case records accurately

  • Monitor shared inboxes and allocate incoming work appropriately

  • Assist with diary management and scheduling for the litigation team

  • Type dictation and prepare legal documents as required

  • Support effective communication within the team and with external parties

What You'll Bring
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Confident communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook; Excel and SharePoint desirable)

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications

  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or legal support role (approx. 2 years)

  • Experience within a legal environment or litigation setting

  • Familiarity with case management systems
