Position Title: Legal Analyst (P2)

Role
Provides assistance with various types of Litigation matters, including but not limited to personal injury, garnishments, subpoenas, real estate, property damage and contracts. Responsible for providing assistance in the drafting and review of legal/business communications and documents, researching and compiling data from legal references and resources, as well as preparing legal document drafts. Responsible for maintaining legal matter management systems. This role will have both administrative and substantive dimensions.
Responsibilities
- Prepares legal documents related to Litigation matters.
- Reviews and abstracts or summarizes legal documents as needed.
- Reviews, revises, and provides advice on legal documents prepared by Area and Functional Crown departments.
- Answers routine questions and provides internal and external support regarding legal matters.
- Assists in collecting and compiling documents and preparing responses for discovery in litigation matters.
- Responsible for data entry of litigation matters into matter management platform and running reports.
- Reviews, drafts response and enters data into system as necessary with regard to subpoenas and code violations.
Education/Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Paralegal Certificate preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Three (3)+ years relevant paralegal experience in a corporate or law firm environment
Expectations
- Prior experience in Litigation preferred
- Computer aptitude and literacy in multiple software applications, including proficiency with Word and Excel
- Data entry proficiency, with strong detail orientation and proofreading skills
- Ability to work within a high-volume environment.
- Ability to prioritize while ensuring that the work gets done
- Ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated flexibility in light of changing work requirements
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry helpful
- Excellent organization skills; demonstrated file management experience
- Experience with Matter Management/e-Billing platforms and e-Discovery platforms preferred

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
