About the role:
The Legal Advisor will advise on all legal questions of the therapeutical areas, departments and projects assigned, by analyzing and proposing solutions to ensure the legal feasibility of them. Bring the expertise on all questions relating to health law, data privacy, new technologies, and business law in general.

Be a source of proposals and support the teams on the various projects and questions relating to the life cycle of the drug, including market access (health innovative solutions, price and reimbursement, commercial policy if applicable), medical affairs, marketing, promotion and loss of exclusivity of Novartis portfolio.

Draft and negotiate complex and high value partnership contracts around the country when needed in line with legal requirements and internal guidelines and policies.

Be proactive and advise the teams in their contractual negotiations, draft, analyze and review different types of contractual documents when applicable.

Provide local support needed in the defense of Novartis intellectual property rights in collaboration with Global IP team.

Ensure trainings, to understand the legislation in force or to allow to anticipate legal developments.

Recommend legal solutions on innovative projects with legal implications, in a cross-functional and matrix environment.

Manage pre-litigation and litigation in conjunction with any external counsel.

Drive simplification and standardization projects and support the implementation of new tools and systems.
Minimum requirements :
-
University degree in law in Spanish University and Bar association member
-
At least 5 years of post-qualification experience and a solid understanding of Spanish healthcare system,
-
Experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred, along with robust understanding of industry regulatory environment.

Solution-driven, pragmatic, dynamic, self-starter, able to work independently in a dynamic environment
-
Ensure smooth and close cooperation with One Novartis Legal Community.

Fluency in English essential
