Cloudera seeks a legal admin/paralegal based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support our global legal team. We have a highly cohesive and well-respected legal team and would look forward to you joining us.   This is a newly appointed position that will support a variety of administrative, operational, and legal matters, working on commercial contracts as needed.  The position will report to our Deputy General Counsel and SVP of Legal, who serves as Cloudera’s global lead commercial counsel. In this role, however, you will have the opportunity to work with members of the legal team supporting various areas of the business. You will also be able to participate in legal and cross-functional projects that seek to improve our processes and procedures.

As a Legal Admin/Paralegal you will:

  • Assisting the legal team with various administrative matters; sending documents via DocuSign, organizing and booking meetings, organizing and filing legal materials (including contracts), storing and sharing knowhow

  • Researching points of law and providing summaries to other members of the legal team

  • Assisting with a range of legal and cross-functional projects (e.g., reviewing law firm invoices against billing guidelines, building and maintaining contract repositories, efficiency projects (including use of AI by the legal team), legal training and professional development events, drafting and maintaining intranet legal materials and information) 

  • Reviewing and negotiating NDAs, order forms, and SOWs

  • Providing assistance in customer contract negotiation process 

  • Identifying and planning legal process improvements

Basic qualifications and experience:

  • Educational background in law or business,

  • Previous legal work experience as a legal admin/paralegal is desirable

  • Project management experience is also desirable
