You will work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure that all students receive the assistance they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering tailored educational programs for students with varying learning abilities.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support, helping students engage with lesson content and enhance their learning outcomes.
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adaptations to curriculum resources.
- Monitor and report on student progress and involvement, providing valuable insights for teacher assessments.
- Encourage students' social interactions and assist them in developing interpersonal skills.
- Contribute to maintaining an engaging, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in learning support.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in Education, Special Education, or Child Development.
- Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role in an educational setting is preferred.
- Understanding and empathy toward students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and students.
- Ability to adapt to various learning environments and manage different responsibilities effectively.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere for all students.
