We’re looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Learning Specialist (K–12) to join our high-performing, award-winning charter school network. Your Day-to-Day

As a Learning Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Manage a Small Caseload: Work with students who have mild to moderate needs, providing direct and indirect instruction aligned to each student’s IEP goals
  • Adapt General Education Content: Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure inclusive, accessible learning for all students, making modifications as needed
  • Collaborate with a Support Team: Work closely with other specialists including psychologists, OT, PT, speech therapists, and service providers to align supports and interventions for students with disabilities
  • Lead the IEP Process: Write IEP plans, track student progress, and facilitate family meetings to ensure strong communication and collaboration
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Colorado special education laws (C.R.S. § 22-20-103) and federal regulations (IDEA)
  • Serve as a Resource for Staff: Provide technical support for staff regarding IEP strategies, accommodations, and modifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Colorado Special Education license or endorsement (required)
  • Experience managing IEPs and supporting students with disabilities in K–12 settings
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to plan and document effectively while maintaining compliance
  • Satisfactory background and reference checks to ensure safety and security
