JOB SUMMARY: Creates and delivers learning and performance related solutions, events and programs aimed at developing skills, knowledge and experience that improve talent performance and results. Frequently works as a lead responsible for consulting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions in partnership with department leadership, resources and business teams.
 
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1. Leads and/or participates in the build of defined learning and performance solutions, performance support initiatives, etc., using instructional design methodiolgies, department practices, following the training project life cycle.
2. Conducts needs analysis with business partners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify performance needs and root cause to recommend learning solutions, resources and defining deliverables.
3. Partners with department leadership to establish effective, innovative and scalable learning solutions designed to broaden skill sets and build experience at various levels, reinforcing a strong team, business culture to achieve desired performance results.
4. Builds strong partnerships for collaboration and accountability of agreed upon deliverables outlined in agreements and discussions ensuring effective and efficient learning and performance solutions.
5. Establishes criteria to evaluate effectiveness of programs based on desired outcomes with direction of management.
6. Initiates plans and executes learning and performance solutions including troubleshooting efforts for pre, on-site and post program activities for a successful, professional and productive program(s) in a cost-effective manner, working with department team members, as needed.
7. Applies techniques in learning solutions and delivery to address diverse needs and ensure an inclusive environment conducive to learning for all participants.
8. Monitors and analyzes program metrics for trending, summaries and opportunities for enhancements with direction of Program Owners or Department Leadership.
9. Creates marketing and communications, presentations and other materials tied to programs and solutions to be distributed and delivered to multiple employees and management levels within the organization.
10. Develops repeatable processes and procedures tied to learning and performance solutions to create sustainable programs, including measurement and reporting for both new and existing programs and solutions to recommend improvement and innovative opportunities.
11. Performs research of industry trends, recommends new technologies, approaches, methodologies, etc. within our team with leadership's direction.
12. Assists in coordinating special projects as required. Leverage productivity by coaching and learning from others within Talent teams and across the organization.
13. Collaborates, coordinates, and communicates across disciplines and departments.
14. Ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
15. Demonstrates Company's Core Competencies and Values held within.

JOB SCOPE: The incumbent works under limited supervision to complete job responsibilities. Work may be complex, and would typically involve large or multiple audience groups. The incumbent possesses and applies a range of business and training knowledge gained through experience or education practices and procedures to complete the job responsibilities. The incumbent adheres to established guidelines and applies their experience to resolve issues that may be complex and escalates more complex issues to higher levels. Some independent judgment is required to accomplish daily tasks and duties.
Preferred Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
 
* Minimum Bachelors' degree or High School diploma plus four years of experience in a related field
* 6 years experience in learning & development, organizational development or other related fields
* Knowledge of adult learning principles, training and performance models, learning styles and instructional design methodologies
* Knowledge of Company's operational and general business practices strongly desired
* Ability to demonstrate organizational savvy and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate, communicate, instruct, and train others, using both technical and non-technical language to explain industry specific topics and processes
* Ability to be proactive, use critical thinking and independent judgment effectively
* Ability to work and learn independently as well as part of a team (depending on a program's requirements)
* Must be able to maintain a big picture focus while defining strategies and deliverables
* Ability to collaborate with customers to achieve satisfactory outcomes that align with corporate priorities
* Ability to adapt to changing work priorities, assignments, and schedules
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to interact with various customer types and all levels of management
* Excellent analytical and reporting skills
* Ability and willingness to travel as needed
* Ability to work in an agile environment and team
 

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $65-70K.  Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.  This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
