The Learning & Performance Design Consultant is responsible for development of learning experiences through design of courses and curriculum for MidFirst Enterprise Training. This includes online learning materials, activities, workflow support, assignments and assessments. They will also create instructor’s manuals, rubrics and other teaching tools to be used in classroom learning environments. The position will collaborate with subject matter experts to obtain course content. The position is responsible for review and ongoing maintenance of materials to stay current and updated.
Responsibilities include:
- Develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks.
- Writes and edits outlines and materials for in-person or online courses and support applications for workflow assistance.
- Consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum.
- Conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness.
- Works with Subject Matter Experts at a professional level to obtain content approvals and follow L&P Workflow procedures to complete.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and authoring tools. May collaborate with vendors that provide training software or materials. Participate in various learning organizations, online communities etc. to stay current with learning strategies.
Position Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and 10 + years’ experience in Design Consulting with deep knowledge of adult learning methodologies. Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
