Position Summary
The Learning Partner is responsible for ensuring operational effectiveness within the team and supporting the timely execution of quality training deliverables to Busey associates. The Partner facilitates associate onboarding, coordinates and manages standing monthly & series trainings and manages the Busey University training calendar. This role also serves as an administrative point person for niche initiatives and as a Brand and Communications ambassador for the Professional and Leadership Development team, ensuring a consistent and professional image across all internal customer-facing resources. The Partner collaborates closely with subject matter experts in Human Resources, Wellness and lines of business across the organization, reporting to the Professional and Leadership Development Manager.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
Training Program Partnership & Facilitation
- Coordinate and facilitate standing monthly training sessions and ongoing training series, including planning, scheduling, working with subject-matter experts, survey analysis and follow‑up
- Facilitate associate onboarding programs, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and high‑quality experience for new hires
- Design, develop, and facilitate training programs as needed using adult learning principles and a variety of delivery methods (in‑person, virtual, and blended)
- Manage and maintain the Busey University training calendar in collaboration with the Professional and Leadership Development team, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and timely advertising and communication with stakeholders
Training Operations & Event Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute in‑person training events, including logistics, materials, room setup, technology needs, and participant communications
- Serve as an administrative point person for niche or specialized Professional and Leadership Development initiatives
- Organize team meetings, planning sessions, and special occasions
Brand, Communication & Media
- Serve as a Brand and Communications ambassador for the Professional and Leadership Development team, ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, and customer‑facing materials
- Produce, edit, and maintain training videos and multimedia content to support learning initiatives and on‑demand resources
- Ensure training materials and communications align with organizational brand standards and reinforce a positive associate experience
Evaluation, Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze training survey data and feedback, identifying trends and summarizing key themes and insights for leadership and stakeholders, especially as it applies to new associate onboarding
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend enhancements based on data, feedback, and organizational priorities
Leadership & Team Support
- Collaborate with Professional and Leadership Development and HR partners to align training efforts with organizational goals and workforce needs
- May have supervisory or workgroup-lead responsibilities as opportunities arise, including providing guidance, coordination, and peer support
- Other duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits
Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
(Base Pay Range: $27-$33/hr)
