Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

Looking for a role where your work has tangible impact? As IMAC LMS Coordinator, you'll help power the learning systems behind New Zealand's national immunisation education courses, enabling healthcare professionals across the country to access essential training that supports confident, effective vaccination practice.

The Immunisation Advisory Centre (IMAC) is New Zealand's national immunisation education provider, based within Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland. IMAC provides independent, evidence-based information on vaccine-preventable diseases and immunisation, drawing on both New Zealand and international scientific research. In this varied and rewarding position, you will:

  • Contribute to the management of IMAC’s online courses from end-to-end
  • Analyse issues and troubleshoot system errors
  • Have a key role in continuous quality improvement across IMAC’s digital systems
  • Support IMAC’s digital transformation projects

This is a part time (22.5h – 30h per week) fixed term position until 30 July 2027

The salary range is between $68,000 - $75,000 (pro-rated) per annum, dependent on skills and experience

You’re an enthusiastic team player and ready for challenge. Have experience in managing customers and eye for detail to help resolve learning management system issues.

To be successful in this role, you'll:

  • Have a tertiary degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent related experience. 
  • Have Computer / e-learning certification or demonstrated equivalent ability
  • Experience of providing training or support to staff and colleagues, preferably in an educational context. 
  • Experience managing and/or supporting integrated information systems (e.g. Learning Management Systems (LMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Student Information Systems (SIS), or similar enterprise/business systems).
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical or system-access issues in a customer-facing or service-desk capacity.
  • Previous experience with learning management systems.
