Learning Management System Administrator - MMH Educational Services - Salary (69151)
In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Learning Management System Administrator is responsible for daily operation and overseeing education software platforms. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.
Job Functions:
- Deliver online education and training by using an LMS platform and authoring software. Must be able to create and upload content, configure courses and curriculums, design a learning pathway, generate reports, develop certificates to align with the education department, project objectives, and organization’s needs.
- Identify usability improvements, reporting gaps, process inefficiencies that course content owners miss, and maintain regulatory compliance providing end user transcripts.
- Adept at trouble shooting technical issues, submission of vendor support tickets, integration of new technologies, and utilization of LMS to capture necessary information from other software platforms to ensure content is assigned correctly and completely.
- Act as the primary owner of education released annually via LMS. Maintain an organized schedule of education for release and remain up to date on regulatory requirements or education requested on high-risk topics, and work with key stakeholders to ensure education is relevant, evidence based and matches policy/procedures.
- Collaborate & communicate with Human Resources, IT, department leaders, education staff to maintain organization of new hire orientation, department onboarding, validation of competency, and orientation competency checklists.
- Provide continuous feedback to the content developer, education team, or end user of a course. Feedback should include information regarding proofing, font, color scheme, template, copyright, citing of sources, readability, grade level, and customer education & support.
- Continuous maintenance and cleanup of the software platform by timely archiving of content or curricula, up to date people groups, & reporting delinquent education to ensure end user timely completion.
- Responsible for literature searches, collection of abstracts, and interlibrary loan.
- Assume all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
Minimum Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, IT, organization curriculum and design, or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Must be able to adapt and handle multiple projects with different priority levels.
Special Knowledge, Skills, Training:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills to communicate with physicians, staff, and leaders.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of National Library of Medicine classification, literature search technology, and interlibrary loan.
- Able to use various AV equipment and Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, TEAMS).
Compensation Details: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
