ABOUT INSPECTED
Inspected is a fast-growing, tech-enabled platform revolutionizing remote inspections and permitting for the construction industry. We serve homebuilders, HVAC, solar, roofing, pool, and commercial and residential contractors across Florida, Texas, and Tennessee — with new markets coming soon.
We are one of South Florida’s fastest-growing companies with 100% growth for three consecutive years. Our proprietary platform, Permit Hub, is transforming a process that once took months into one that takes days. This is a high-energy, high-growth environment where every team member makes a real and visible impact on our customers and our mission.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Learning & Development Manager owns how Inspected teaches — to new contractor clients learning our platform and to the internal teams who run it. This role sets the training strategy, builds and scales the curriculum, and develops the people who deliver it, so every client and every new hire ramps quickly, accurately, and compliantly.
The right person is a builder and a coach: someone who can turn a process that lives in someone’s head into a program, a measurable standard, and a repeatable habit — and who can lead others to do the same as Inspected grows into new states and new roles.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Training Strategy & Program Ownership
  • Own the learning and development strategy for Inspected, covering contractor client onboarding, internal onboarding, and ongoing skills training
  • Build and maintain a training roadmap tied to company growth, new markets, new roles, and platform releases
  • Select, implement, and manage learning tools and platforms (LMS, video, knowledge base) to deliver and track training
  • Define success metrics for training — time to proficiency, completion, client activation, and quality — and report results to leadership
Contractor & Client Training
  • Design and oversee onboarding training for new contractor clients, covering how to submit requests, use Permit Hub, and work with Inspected’s virtual inspection process
  • Ensure training materials — guides, walkthroughs, and FAQs — are clear, current, and reduce the number of basic questions new clients need to ask support
  • Lead live and virtual training sessions for key accounts and use client feedback to continuously improve the program
Internal Team Training & Enablement
  • Create and run onboarding and ongoing training for Permit Coordinators, Customer Support Specialists, Inspectors, Sales, and other operational roles
  • Partner with department heads to identify skill and process gaps and build targeted programs and refreshers in response
  • Develop manager and trainer toolkits, including structured interview and onboarding templates, so training is consistent regardless of who delivers it
  • Work with the Compliance team to ensure training reflects current regulatory standards across every active jurisdiction
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Manage, coach, and develop the training team, setting clear goals and holding regular one-on-ones
  • Partner with the Head of HR on employee development, career paths, and company-wide culture initiatives
  • Manage training budgets, vendors, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Use HubSpot CRM and Microsoft Office Suite to track training activity, follow-ups, and reporting
