About the Position

Join our Learning & Development team at Power Design's corporate headquarters in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida, as our next Learning & Development Coordinator. You'll be the engine behind our training function — scheduling programs, managing rosters and attendance, building and maintaining course materials and job aids, and keeping learners informed every step of the way. You'll also get hands-on with Workday Learning, building courses and assignments, running data entry and analysis, and generating reports that help the team make smart decisions. Position Responsibilities
- Support learning programs including updating and developing materials and job aids, and setup/maintenance of training rooms
- Manage rosters, attendance, and communications for onboarding, boot camps, continuing education, and other training programs
- Perform data entry to record, plan, and schedule training; build and manage courses and learning assignments in Workday Learning
- Administer program maintenance for assigned team including scheduling, tracking, and reporting
- Coordinate the schedule for multiple training programs across department functions
- Facilitate or co-facilitate learning sessions, and provide in-session facilitation support, as required by schedule or learner need
- Respond to learner questions and escalate to the appropriate team member when necessary
- Track participant feedback and follow up with learners post-training
- Coordinate snacks, meals, and travel for participants as needed
- Assist in preparation of applications and documentation for training grants and funds
- Compile and organize training data and reports, including tracking financials and expense reporting for the team
- Purchase training supplies and manage stock on hand
- Plan and coordinate logistics for jobsite-based or off-site training sessions as needed, including some travel to support training delivery
- Work with other training coordinators and subject matter experts to maintain and publish the training schedule and calendar
- Assist Learning team and Learning & Development Managers as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree at an accredited 4-year college or university
- 1-2 years of experience in training coordination, learning & development, HR administration, or a similar role
- Strong organizational skills, creative ability, and attention to detail
- Good analytical capabilities and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, proofreading, editing, and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated to take the initiative to find solutions
- Flexible, adapts to change easily
- Skilled at multi-tasking and prioritizing responsibilities and deliverables
- Strong customer orientation, commitment to flawless execution and detail orientation
- Comfortable managing communications and follow-up with learners across multiple concurrent programs
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint – prior Learning Management Systems (LMS) work a plus; Workday Learning experience a plus
- Prior training, teaching, or related experience a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support on-location training events
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
