As a Learning Designer and Facilitator focused on learning and leadership development across Dropbox, you’ll support the evolution of how we grow our people in a Virtual First environment. You will play a crucial role in areas such as program design, facilitation of scalable and inclusive learning experiences, curriculum evaluation and iteration, and management of Dropbox’s coaching program.
Your work will include collaborating with cross-functional partners and designing learner-centered experiences. You’ll get to shape high-impact development experiences that reach managers and ICs across Dropbox, drive measurable behavior change, and help create a learning culture rooted in reflection, curiosity, and experimentation. You’ll play a key role in the ongoing strategy of learning at Dropbox.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver modern, learner-centered experiences rooted in instructional design best practices and Dropbox values.
- Design and facilitate engaging workshops across virtual and in-person formats for audiences at all levels.
- Consult with business leaders to develop custom learning or organizational development solutions that address team or function-specific challenges.
- Evaluate and iterate on learning programs using feedback, behavior change data, and impact metrics.
- Bring a spirit of innovation and curiosity to learning design—experimenting with new formats, tools (including AI), and methods to enhance the learner experience.
- Design senior leadership programs that align to Dropbox’s learning philosophy and approach.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field (e.g., Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Education).
- At least 8 years of experience in instructional design, facilitation, or leadership development within a corporate or high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design models, and behavior change principles.
- Strong facilitation skills across virtual and in-person environments, with comfort engaging diverse audiences.
- Ability to evaluate program effectiveness using feedback and data, and make evidence-based improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, Virtual First environment.
- Experience integrating AI tools to enhance efficiency, personalization, or insight generation in L&D or operational contexts.
- Proven success applying HR as a product approaches to program design, with a focus on driving learner outcomes and operational excellence.
- Comfort with UX/design thinking principles to co-create, test, and refine learner-centric experiences in fast-moving, data-informed environments.
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Organizational development experience.
- Coaching certification or experience partnering with executive coaches or coaching vendors.
- Experience with learning technologies and authoring tools (e.g., LMS platforms, Articulate, Miro, AI-powered learning tools like Synthesia or Sana).
- Experience working in a tech-forward or hybrid/Virtual First organization.
