Job Description

WHAT DOES A LEARNING & CULTURE COORDINATOR DO?

The Learning and Culture Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the Learning and Culture team in creating and implementing innovative training and culture programs. This role will also drive on-site program execution and support the Office Operations team with necessary activities to ensure our office is accessible, safe, productive, and presentable for our staff and guests. The ideal candidate has a high level of energy, can work collaboratively, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

  • Administer and manage agency training, assignments, and reporting via the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Manage user support and resolve user technical issues and questions.
  • Manage and maintain Learning and Culture content across our systems and platforms (e.g. training assets in the LMS, knowledge bases in SharePoint).
  • Create and update training materials using tools such as Canva, Articulate Rise, WellSaid, PowerPoint, and more.
  • Administer new hire onboarding and DiSC training assignments.
  • Support planning, implementation, and facilitation of internal training and culture activities, including arranging catering, materials preparation, ordering supplies, scheduling, setup, communications, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate off-site training and culture initiatives, including researching event spaces, making reservations, and arranging vendor payments.
  • Fulfill employee recognition requests, including ordering employee gifts and communicating with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Enable Learning and Culture reporting by gathering data across initiatives, including executing surveys and pulling data via the LMS, SurveyMonkey, and PowerBI.
  • Assist Office Operations with ensuring the office is equipped and presentable for staff and guests, including inventory support, office access and maintenance (as needed), in-office event set up, and special office projects and catering as defined.
  • Independently drive assigned initiatives forward with high accuracy and quality, managing logistics, timelines, materials, and record keeping.
  • Track expenses for Learning and Culture initiatives to ensure delivery remains within budget.
  • Partner and collaborate with various teams on planning and execution for Learning and Culture initiatives, including Agency Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Compliance, as well as functional subject matter experts.

  • Able to manage several projects at once and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly capable in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Able to design and develop engaging learning and communication materials across various formats.
  • Comfortable manipulating data to derive trends and insights.
  • Technical savvy with ability to learn new systems and tools.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive, proactive, and self-confident. 
  • Demonstrated experience working and building relationships with diverse groups and stakeholders.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs and being on their feet regularly.

Qualifications

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 1+ years of work experience, preferably in a Human Resources or Learning role. 
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 
  • Prior experience with software that is frequently used in developing training is preferred.
