The Learning and Onboarding Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing onboarding programs and learning initiatives that empower new employees to succeed in their roles.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Onboarding :
- Develop and manage a comprehensive global onboarding flow
- Continuously update and adjust the onboarding system to meet business needs
- Propose ideas and initiatives for onboarding process improvements
- Manage the onboarding workflow together with the stakeholders (recruiters, managers, HR Business Partners, IT, HR Operations)
- Conduct onboarding sessions for the new hires (offline in Amsterdam and online globally)
- Support newcomers throughout their adaptation period to ensure a smooth transition
- Gather feedback and track onboarding metrics
- Learning & Development:
- Participate in designing and implementation of L&D policies and procedures
- Support and develop LMS,
- Process incoming learning requests and propose adequate solutions,
- Organize workshops, trainings, strategic sessions, and other learning events,
- Coordinate learning providers,
- Participate in other L&D initiatives aimed to meet business and teams’ developmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Science or Education,
- 3+ years of experience in onboarding and learning & development,
- Good understanding of global onboarding practices,
- Experience of administration of Learning Management Systems (LMS),
- Excellent organizational and project management skills,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
- Proactive mindset with the ability to suggest and implement improvements,
- Fluency in English; additional EU languages is a plus,
- Ability to travel occasionally.
