The Learning and Growth Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic governance and operational oversight of enterprise-wide Learning and Development (L&D) programs. This role ensures alignment of all L&D efforts—including learning content, facilitation, and program delivery—with organizational goals and quality standards. The Manager leads the instructional design function and supervises staff responsible for content development and program architecture.
This position owns and evolves the Learning Partner Program, an internal certification program for all trainers and learning partners across the organization.
Additionally, the Manager collaborates with business leaders, Line of Business (LOB) Trainers, and other stakeholders to drive adoption of consistent L&D practices, optimize learning journeys within the LMS, and evaluate program effectiveness through data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Provide governance and oversight for L&D initiatives across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Provide program support, governance of standards and objectives, and program oversight current and future tracks of the ElevateU rotational learning program.
- Manage the instructional design team, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and adherence to design standards and best practices.
- Lead the ongoing development, implementation, and management of the Learning Partner Program, including internal certification pathways.
- Consult with LOB leaders and Business Managers to support training strategy, content development, and instructional delivery methods.
- In partnership with LOB leaders, evaluate training program effectiveness by analyzing participant feedback, business impact, and KPI outcomes; make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain governance of shared resources, content standards, and instructional quality across LOB training teams.
- Oversee regular audits of training programs compliance with established standards and expectations.

Required Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Training & Development, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in L&D, instructional design, corporate training, or a related field, including experience leading teams or complex learning initiatives.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage instructional design processes.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design models, and e-learning development.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems.
- Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders.
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a largely sedentary role with the following physical requirements:
- Sitting or standing for long periods, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking hearing, and visual acuity including close vision.
- Occasional lifting (up to 10 pounds of computer equipment or paper).
- May be required occasionally to stoop or kneel.
