As a Specialist, Learning and Development, you’ll play a central role in designing learning experiences that help our people perform better, grow faster, and feel supported at every stage of their journey.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning insights into action. You’ll work closely with People & Culture, Recruitment, and leaders to connect hiring outcomes, performance feedback, and business goals into practical learning pathways that actually work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Learning Strategy & Alignment
- Align learning initiatives with organizational goals, workforce priorities, and performance outcomes.
- Partner closely with People & Culture, Recruitment, and leaders to identify current and future capability needs.
- Ensure learning programs reinforce Alaya’s values of Passion, Care, and Oneness.
- Stay across L&D trends and best practices to continuously improve our learning approach.
Conduct learning needs analysis using performance data, manager input, and employee feedback.
Support competency and capability mapping across technical, behavioral, and leadership roles.
Identify recurring skill gaps and prioritize learning initiatives based on impact and risk.
Translate recruitment insights and role expectations into structured onboarding learning journeys.
Design onboarding programs that support faster productivity and role confidence.
Work with managers to address early skill gaps identified during probation.
Design learning roadmaps for new hires, existing employees, and future leaders.
Develop training materials and learning content using practical, adult learning principles.
Deliver engaging workshops, learning sessions, and on-the-job learning interventions.
Coordinate with external providers where specialist training is required.
Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS).
Ensure training records, completion data, and documentation are accurate and up to date.
Coordinate learning schedules, logistics, communication, and learning resources.
Translate performance feedback into clear development actions and learning plans.
Support managers with coaching tools and people development resources.
Contribute to leadership development and succession readiness across key roles.
Measure learning effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance indicators.
Analyze learning data to identify trends and improvement areas.
Recommend improvements to programs, delivery methods, and tools to strengthen impact.
Who This Role Is For
You’re someone who cares deeply about people development and believes learning should make work easier, not harder.
You’ll likely have:
A Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
3–4 years of experience in Learning & Development, People & Culture, or training roles.
Hands-on experience with learning needs analysis, program design, and facilitation.
Confidence working with leaders and cross-functional teams.
Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Comfort using LMS platforms, Gmail, and Google Workspace tools.
