The Role

Job Summary:
At PalmPay, we’re passionate about growth—both for our business and our people. As a Learning and Development Specialist in our Bangladesh office, you’ll play a key role in shaping our local talent by designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful training programs. You’ll help employees unlock their potential and align their growth with PalmPay’s mission to drive financial inclusion through technology.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Strategy & Development
  • Design and implement L&D strategies aligned with business needs and performance goals.
  • Develop role-specific training frameworks for departments such as sales, customer service, operations, and tech.
  • Create engaging training materials: manuals, e-learning modules, presentations, and videos.
  • Program Delivery & Facilitation
  • Organize and facilitate onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions across key competencies and tools.
  • Coordinate with external training vendors where necessary.
  • Needs Analysis & Evaluation
  • Conduct training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and performance data.
  • Evaluate training outcomes using metrics (e.g., pre/post assessments, feedback, ROI).
  • Continuously refine learning programs based on feedback and impact.
  • Learning Culture & Employee Development
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and career development.
  • Support managers in developing team-level learning plans.
  • Champion PalmPay’s internal knowledge-sharing programs and upskilling initiatives.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure all training programs comply with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate training records and progress reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in L&D or training roles, preferably in fintech, banking, or startups.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in creating digital learning content and using LMS platforms.
  • Data-driven and capable of analyzing training effectiveness.
  • Fluency in Bangla and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in L&D, Instructional Design, or Training Facilitation (e.g., CIPD, ATD).
  • Experience supporting fast-scaling teams in dynamic environments.
  • Passion for empowering people and fostering growth from within.
