Job Description
The Bose Global Business Services Agile Program Manager role is a leadership position being the Train lead for an aspiring agile organization with cross functional business teams, being responsible for small- large program or projects that range from medium to high complexity. The PM focuses on leading program/project planning efforts and manages the collaboration of teams, implementation, reporting, and performance of the overall program to ensure the successful delivery of defined value and outcomes. The role leads the coordination and management activities with business partners, and acts as a mentor and coach to product owners. This role is also responsible for driving alignment and managing dependencies across programs, projects, and when needed technology teams and outside vendors.
The Program Manager will also help to manage project efforts and team level activities ensuring consistency in execution and deliverables, while delivering value for internal and external stakeholders. The program manager may drive or support change management and process improvement efforts. The Program Manager must exhibit the ability to influence managers and their teams and drive collaboration and alignment.
This position requires proven experience in program/project management. Ideal candidates must be highly proactive, detail-oriented, possess the ability to work through unknowns, identify paths to success to ensure delivery, and able to work on several projects at the same time. They must be capable of digging into details and clearly communicating schedules, risks, status, and processes to a variety of business and audiences. They must be able to partner closely with all types of global stakeholders to coordinate schedules and deliverables.
Required Competencies:

Leads and supports the Global Business Services quarterly Portfolio management and prioritization process to achieve alignment between all business teams.

Drive improvement in methodologies and deliverables, as well as collaboration practices and ways of working.

Supports portfolio level reporting practices and value delivery.

Change agent at change management, is organized, detailed, and able to grasp and apply new concepts quickly and relay/implement within the team.

Defines and maintains ongoing governance (reporting, monitoring, escalation, controls)

Facilitates agile training sessions, workshops, and ceremonies to promote a common understanding of Agile values, principles, and practices across the organization

Coach and mentor teams in Agile principles with best practices
Experience Requirements:
At least 4 years of highly effective agile management experience leading product or portfolio teams, as well as experience with agile-based tools.
Experience communicating program status, risks, issues, and needs to all levels of leaders.
Experience managing alignment across programs, projects or product teams in a cross functional business environment.
Experience managing strategic relationships or acting as the primary point of contact for strategic partnerships.
Proficient in effective troubleshooting and issue resolution techniques.
Proficient in the planning and execution of programs and projects and risk mitigation strategies
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
Experience in a global business operations organization strongly preferred.
Proficient in project management execution in a modern software environment via multiple methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc).
Education/Certification Requirements:
• Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Agile / Scrum certification (preferred)
• OCM or CCMP Certification or knowledge (preferred, not required)
• PMP certification or knowledge (preferred, not required)
• Continuous Learning: Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in agile
