WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Establishment and further development of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Office: Initiating, planning, preparing, evaluating, coordinating, and tracking all Lean activities in production and administration, as well as developing and updating transformation roadmaps within the scope of all Lean initiatives.
  • Implementation of Lean principles: Applying Lean methods to eliminate waste and increase operational efficiency.
  • Process analysis: Analyzing existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Training and coaching: Delivering training sessions and providing hands-on support to employees regarding Lean tools and best practices.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Working with departments across the organization to drive and support improvement initiatives.
  • Effectiveness review: Tracking progress and effectiveness of Lean initiatives, reporting results, and recommending adjustments.
  • Kaizen facilitation: Planning, leading, and following up on Kaizen workshops to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Development of standard work instructions: Supporting the creation and maintenance of standardized work instructions to promote consistency and standard methodologies.
  • Root cause analysis: Leading investigations into process issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Quality improvement: Supporting the development and integration of quality control systems and procedures.
  • Global collaboration and exchanging standard processes with international nVent teams.
  • Leadership of the local Lean team: Leading and supporting the local Lean team in achieving targets and improving processes.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a Lean / Continuous Improvement role with at least five years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, Management for Daily Improvement (MDI), 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Root Cause Problem Solving, Standard Work, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulousness with a structured and independent working style.
  • Adaptability and the ability to guide and support colleagues.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; an effective team player.
  • High level of independence, initiative, assertiveness, flexibility, and resilience.
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.

Skills Required
