As Business Unit FLIGHT DECK Senior Manager you will act as the Partner of the Business Unit General Manager to guide the Business Unit FLIGHT DECK transformation, building internal capabilities, and fostering a continuous improvement culture across all Business Unit processes to enhance customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with the Business Unit General Manager to define, prioritize, and execute the business improvement and transformation roadmap.

  • Ensure Business Unit initiatives align with the Avio Aero FLIGHT DECK strategy and guidelines and specific Business Unit needs and practice are heard at FLIGHT DECK Team.

  • Coach, mentor, and train Commercial teams to strengthen their skills and autonomy within the FLIGHT DECK Operating System framework.

  • Drive the deployment and adoption of FLIGHT DECK Fundamental across all Business Unit processes and teams.

  • Foster a sustainable mindset shift toward continuous improvement and business excellence through the framework and Avio Aero strategy.

  • Track with relevant functions and stakeholder the impact of initiatives and roadmap execution on customer satisfaction and key business KPIs.

  • Act as a bridge to share and scale successful practices between the central team and the Business Unit.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Engineering Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.

  • Proven track record in Operational Excellence, Lean Management, or Continuous Improvement roles.

  • Deep expertise in Lean tools (e.g., Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kanban, Problem Solving, Daily Management System).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex organizational transformation projects.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), as it is the corporate language.

  • Strong presence and credibility to advise and influence senior leadership and managers.

  • Ability to work effectively within a dual-reporting line.

  • Exceptional facilitation, teaching, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulations, is required.

Contract Level: CCNL Dirigenti Industria

Salary range for this role: 91,125.00 - 121,500.00 EUR Annual + Performance-related bonuses​


Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
